Windows are rated for energy efficiency in much the same way as electrical appliance are. For instance, you would compare fridges or washing machines by comparing the rating signs on the front of the appliance to identify how efficient each one is. We use the same industry standard sign for our windows, so for example, a standard pvcu double glazed window has a ‘D’ or ‘E’ rating.
